Melbourne House is a magnificent Grade II listed Georgian residence that has a large Victorian addition to the rear and is set in grounds of 7 acres. The property is approached by a long gravelled driveway which leads to the parking area in front of the house and courtyard.

We have seven large bedrooms each decorated to a high standard and retaining many of their period features. Deep skirting boards, panelled doors, a magnificent staircase, sash windows, decorative cornice and ceiling roses all enhance the elegent appeal of Melbourne House.

Facilities include a shower and bathroom but, in keeping with the Georgian period, there are no en-suite bathrooms.

Refurbishment
We are restoring a further 2 bedrooms and hope to have these available to guests in the coming months.

Deposit and Cancellation Policy
We require a deposit of half the adult fee upon booking. This is non refundable if the booking is cancelled within 6 weeks of arrival date.
